Mayflower Ancestors Francis Cooke and Richard Warren.
A Request for a Preliminary Review has been submitted to the Canadian Society of Mayflower Descendants on January 16, 2008. I have the necessary support documents required for the formal application and hope to have the project completed by early fall.
Application will be made through the Canadian Mayflower society as both Porter Earlton Westgate and daughter Jessie Mildred held Canadian Citizenship and are buried in a small cemetery in northern Saskatchewan. I hope to one day install the Mayflower grave marker on both graves as well as DAR markers on the graves of Jessie Chase Whitney (Westgate) and Jessie Mildred Westgate (Cooper)
Application update: Febuary 14, 2008. Response to submission of the preliminary review holds that Benjamin Westgate, son of John Westgate and Grace Chruch is the only line currently holding Mayflower Descendancy status. An application for membership will require establishing the line from Earl Westgate and Elizabeth Waite.
Francis Cooke:
John Cooke : Married Sarah Warren daughter of Richard Warren and Elizabeth. This marriage union establishes Mayflower descendancy through both parents, as both Francis Cooke and Richard Warren were members of the original Mayflower Compact.
Elizabeth Cooke : Daughter of John Cooke and Sarah Warren, married Daniel Wilcox.
Mary Wilcox: Daughter of Daniel Wilcox and Elizabeth Cooke, married John Earl.
Elizabeth Earl : Daughter of John Earl and Mary Wilcox, married George Westgate.
John Westgate: Son of George Westgate and Elizabeth Earl married Grace Church.
Earl Westgate : Son of John Westgate and Grace Church, married Elizabeth Waite.
John Westgate : Son of John Westgate and Grace Church, married Betsy Ann Clough
Earlton Webster Westgate: Son of John Westgate and Betsy Ann Clough, married Julia Maria Porter.
Porter Earlton Westgate: Son of Earlton Webster Westgate and Julia Maria Porter, married Jessie Chase Whitney.
Jessie Mildred Westgate: Daughter of Porter Earlton Westgate and Jessie Chase Whitney, married John McQueen Brundige.( My Grandparents )
